Animated video of a distressed man who gets liberated of his mind's entrapment through the art of dance.
Screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner, Revelation Perth Film Festival, Oaxaca FilmFest, Séquence Court-Métrage amongst others.
Main titles for Alex Gibney's documentary film about the movement of the 60's where Ken Kesey and his "Merry Band of Pranksters" decided to go on an LSD-infused roadtrip. Created a lo-fi, analog aesthetic to portray original and psychedelic visuals to enhance the mood of the film.

Intro for a Mexican reality show that never aired, the premise of this video was to make something "strange and intense". I was approached by director Salvador Herrera to create and animate characters of both human and animal qualities so they could be composited in the final version.

Music video for Gysko's music where the grooves dictated what the story should be... In this case, falling churches ending with a cosmic trip to the abyss.
UNESCO - México Patrimonio Mundial
This is a video-mapping installation that took place in the National Palace of Mexico City. It's a 40 x 6 meter-space that serves as a homage to Mexico's 40 national treasures. The installation consists of 8 screens projected simultaneously with an 8.2 surround system and 16 HD projectors at 15,000 lumens each.

In charge of directing 14 animated videos from 14 celebrated Mexican artists from the XXth century. Amongst them: Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamayo, Guillermina Bravo, Salvador Toscano, Juan Rulfo and more. This was televised in "Canal 22" for kids all around Mexico so they can be aware of some of the nation's greatest creative minds. Due to the TV channels' copyright terms I can't showcase the final animations, but here is some of the art and designs generated to later give them life in the series.

A man is found in a timeless space; a void which is about to be filled by memories. Each time he imagines something, his thought comes out of his head and into his reality sharing the physical world. Simultaneously, he loses body mass with every thought as more objects share its existence. In the end, he becomes the thought itself and fades away leaving behind his imagination which has now become a recollection of tangible memories...
This was my senior graduation film at the Savannah College of Art & Design (2009)

Video realized for the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) demonstrating how this apparatus works in motion. It will be part of a presentation for the Mathematics department for this university in Mexico City.
Design package for Germinal Niños
A whole day festival dedicated to children promoting works from young and emerging artists to incite a wondrous experience through visual arts, dance, film and music. This took place at the "Casa del Lago" in Mexico City.
Goldberg Variations Live Visuals
For this project, visuals were made to create a synesthetic experience to accompany Bach's Goldberg Variations - a homage to Glenn Gould. The mindset was to elaborate a fitting ambience to the music where the animation won't overpower the music and vice-versa. It was a three-way concert instrumentation: accordion, strings & harpsichord. It all took place in the José Rubén Romero theatre at the Festival de Música de Morelia in the city of Morelia, Mexico.

Poster design for the "Festival Internacional Cervantino" - A cultural festival that takes place in Guanajuato, Mexico where 3,518 artists from 31 countries perform various disciplines in the arts.
